This is supposed to be a great detox recipe. Visually, it wasn’t the most appealing but it tasted good, it wasn’t too sweet, and it easily replaced a meal. I was full of energy for the rest of my afternoon. Get out your food processor and try this smoothie delight!

This is a smoothie recipe that I adapted from a health magazine. I can’t remember exactly where I got it, nor can I find the magazine . . . Maybe I left it at the beach 😉

1/2 cup mango
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup orange juice (100% juice, don’t ruin it with fake stuff)
4-5 stalks of Swiss Chard, chopped
juice from 1/2 lemon

Swiss Chard Detox Smoothie

Rinse all of the fruits and then put all of the ingredients into your food processor. Blend until smooth 🙂 Frozen ingredients are important. They add to the viscosity of the recipe, smoothness of the smoothie.

My recommended REMIX: Instead of mangoes and blueberries, I used strawberry kiwi and lime.

I’d love to try bananas, pineapple, and coconut water 🙂
